Quick answer
How does SlapWindows work technically?
SlapWindows works in three parts: 1) Mic Detection — it listens to your microphone for sudden audio spikes (the sound of a slap). When detected, it triggers a sound. 2) Sound Pack System — 7 packs of audio clips play randomly on trigger so each slap sounds different. 3) USB Moaner — separately monitors Windows USB device events and triggers audio on plug/unplug. Everything runs silently in the system tray with near-zero CPU usage.
